THE SHAPE OF THINGS (2014)

DIRECTOR, SET DESIGNER

When Adam – an unassuming, loveless undergraduate – meets Evelyn, a vivacious and outgoing thesis student, an unlikely romance quickly begins to blossom between the two. As their relationship quickly grows more all-consuming, Adam begins to undergo an alarming transformation. Upon Evelyn’s insistence, he loses weight, begins working out, eating better and gains a confidence he never had before, even going so far as to get a tattoo and cosmetic surgery for her. These changes don’t go unnoticed by Adam’s closest friends Jenny and Phillip, and it is not long before they, too, become embroiled in a dangerous game of manipulation that asks the question: “How far would you go for love?”
